PHILOSOPHY
The Global . Design . Studio (G.D.S) is an active community-network of creatives collaborating on projects supporting the design, development and delivery of innovative approaches to education, research and practice. It is fundamentally a knowledge sharing and community engagement platform for participating creatives.
Global – Addressing issues from world-wide perspectives;
Design – Focusing on transformative processes informed by research, education and practice;
Studio – Advocating collaborative engagement and promoting learning environments as places for think-tanks and creative-inquiry.
The G.D.S team shares a strong belief in the importance of creating avenues to respond to complex challenges facing built environments worldwide. Attracting creatives from across diverse industries and academic disciplines together to co-create new knowledge, build shared resources and engage in sustainable collaborations, in order to collaborate in design, research, practice, education and community projects.
