Elective Supervisors
Supported by:

Scott Davies introduces the methods and rationale behind planning and it’s role in shaping our cities in the future. The importance of understanding macro and micro scale contexts and the legacy of our actions and legislative policies have on our environments.

Participating Students
This unit is not a core unit for the 4th year Architecture students from Curtin University. Students have elected to take this unit to compliment their current core units which have a greater demand of their time. HASSELL Elective Studios are an opportunity for students to be inspired by our multidisciplinary practitioners from Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture and Planning.
Students will be working in project teams in a co-working studio learning environment. The major assignment has been developed to support knowledge share and collaboration. The overarching aim is to challenge students both individually and in project teams to engage critical reflective practice processes by way of exploring the question of “What’s important to you about architecture and design?”
